The instructors here can deliver their knowledge at a pace and understanding where every student can understand and learn. Practice for SAT here is great for all grades in high school. If you lack the knowledge, they can easily help you understand the unknown, and help strengthen your weaknesses. Timing is great for high schoolers, if you are busy you can come at 5-7pm. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We highly recommend Dr. Singh and her professional team at SMARTS Club for test prep programs specifically SAT/ACT Prep. Which is what our high school daughter was enrolled in at the institute. Our daughter loved the tutoring methodology one on one, used at the institute along with a quality curriculum. Supplemented by the personal attention ACT program helped our daughter achieve great results with the maximum scores in 4 out 5 ACT categories with overall ACT score of 34. Dr. Singh was able to boost her confidence and gave her test taking strategies that allowed her to be successful. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend SMARTS Club to any parent looking for SAT/ACT Prep or any other test prep program as they also offer GT, CBE and DukeTip prep. Thank you!

My son developed a passion for chess in elementary school and has played chess at both Frisco Smarts locations. The Sunday tournaments were well-ran, and the coaching was excellent. Our son is older now but continues to play chess, and I credit his foundational experience at Smarts Club. When we learned Smarts Club offers tutorials in a wide variety of school subjects, we signed up. The tutors are smart and professional. Their curriculum is up to date, and the test-prep tutoring is outstanding—A+++. When our son wanted to get ahead and learn more about pre-algebra before it was offered in his school, we signed up again, and those sessions have paid dividends. When the pandemic first hit, they did not miss a beat, offering online tutorial sessions. Dr. Meenakshi handled these personally and often spent extra time explaining concepts and sending extra study materials. If our son needs or wants further assistance, or when it is time for high school PSAT and SAT prep, I will not hesitate to return. I highly recommend them. Thank you.

Which test should you take the SAT or the ACT?
Most colleges and universities will accept scores from either the SAT or ACT and do not favor one test over the other. That said, college-bound students are increasingly taking both the SAT and ACT. Changes made to the SAT in 2016 have made it easier than ever to prep for both tests concurrently—and earn competitive scores on both! The best way to decide if taking the SAT, ACT, or both tests is right for you is to take a timed full-length practice test of each type. Since the content and style of the SAT and ACT are very similar, factors like how you handle time pressure and what types of questions you find most challenging can help you determine which test is a better fit.
