What is the SMARTS PSAT Practice TEST:
Here your students will be able to take their own practice assessment to see how prepared they are for the PSAT. Like the actual test, students will be taking the reading, writing, and math sections in the allotted time. After the assessment, students will be able to see their scores out of the total 1520 points. The test will consist of the:
60 minute Reading section
35 minute Writing section
25 minute Math no-calculator section
45 minute Math calculator section
Why Should I Test at SMARTS?
Unlike other centers, SMARTS does not just give the student their PSAT score, we give each student a specialized SMARTS score that highlights the student’s exact weaknesses. This way each student will be able to study for the PSAT the SMARTS way!
What Should I Bring?
You should bring exactly what you would to the actual PSAT. Remember this is to assess how your student will perform on the PSAT. Please bring with you:
Number 2 pencils
Watch for timing (With NO ALARM)
Since we will be taking short breaks throughout the test session, we encourage you to bring light snacks and water.
Nervous About Taking the Test?
Relax! You got this! Just remember your testing strategies and always try to narrow down your choices. Don’t know the answer? Guess! There is no guessing penalty so always answer each question. Also, remember to leave enough time for bubbling.
What if I Don’t Like My Score?
No worries! SMARTS offers personalized SAT, ACT, and PSAT tutoring. Here we will help strengthen your child’s knowledge of the subject and teach them strategies to help your student feel more confident and prepared to slay the test the SMARTS way!
